Nucleic acid purification kits
The purification kits offered by HiMedia provide a fast and efficient method for the purification of nucleic acid from a variety of samples. The purification columns in the kits are fixed with a specially treated silicon membrane, which is exclusively designed for efficient nucleic acid binding in the presence of high salt concentrations. The kits are based on the principle of spin column technology, and the use of optimised buffers ensures that only DNA or RNA is isolated, while cellular proteins, metabolites, salts and other impurities are removed during subsequent washing steps. The eluted DNA or RNA is suitable for downstream testing.
